Ahh the procrastinator in me...
I've been shooting for Portfolio class as well as my own enjoyment lately.
Using the Lumedyne's as well as natural light, since the 2nd charger I got stopped working.
But I get a new one tomorrow and I have a shoot planned with Manny alongside a few of his kicks.
Thanks for looking at this. Enjoy

Sarah | Sarasota, Fla. | Abandon Mobile Home Park Clubhouse | July, 2008
This shot was taken with all natural light, in the clubhouse of the abandon mobile home park
which was at one time engulfed in flames. However there was a beautiful shaft of light coming
through the corner of a wall and the ceiling which is godly...

Janel | Sarasota, Fla. | Ringling Bridge | July, 2008
Lit with a 800 w/s Lumedyne head to camera right with a 1/2 diffuser at 50 w/s I believe.
I love the emotion on her face, however my teacher didn't think it was a strong portfolio piece.
I Just love how you stare right into her eyes, as if she's telling you something, anyhoo.

Janel | Sarasota, Fla. | Ringling Bridge | July, 2008
Lit nearly the same as the previous one, can't forget to ad the suns beauty as a 2nd light source...

Sarah | Sarasota, Fla. | Abandon Mobile Home Park | July, 2008
All natural sunlight, some ACR work and a little sharpening in CS3.

Manny | Siesta Key, Fla. | Point of Rocks | June, 2008
Lit with 2 Lumedyne heads, placed at camera left. One with a homemade gridspot directed at Manny's head,
while the other is lighting the rest of his body as well as the foreground a bit.

Manny | Sarasota, Fla | 5 Points | June, 2008
Lit with a Lumedyne directly in front of Manny.

Sarah | Sarasota, Fla. | Point of Rocks | June, 2008
Lit with the Lumedyne. Shot with the 50mm f/1.8

Intersection of Ringling and 301/N. Washington | Sarasota, Fla. | July, 2008
Shot with the Sigma 15mm f/2.8 and then de-fished in CS3. Then the security busted us, and didn't hold back his thoughts about we should be shooting girls in bikinis or something of that nature...
Thats it for now, new stuff soon.

hi there, nice work. I was interested to hear about your lumedyne charger issue. Could you elaborate on the problems you've had? I work for the UK importer, we've had issues with the UK chargers but thought it was just those ones.
One of my batteries was fried, and I didnt know until plugging my new charger into it. Resulting in the loss of that charger. It was technically my fault, even though I didn't know the battery was fried, because I purchased all the equipment used.

the first image of the girl in the yellow shirt..is very Greg Crewdson to me..very cool.
Some of the b&ws of the girl with the short black hair..look like movie stills..it really brings me to a place time.
I sound like a pretentious douche bag..but I mean it
